NOW

Sometimes you can become so focused on a goal that you wind up in a situation where “you cannot see the forest for the trees”.  Being in the moment, fully aware of our surroundings along the path to our destiny is the remedy for temporarily wandering off the path to our destiny.  The Centering Thought for Day 10 of the Meditation Series* was “Now is my time”.

When we take time to stop and appreciate this idea, it is freeing, motivating and encouraging.  This coupled with being dialed into your “why”, helps illuminate the path to your destiny.  It goes a step further when you create your legacy….what kind of things are involved in creating the legacy I want to leave behind?  Answers to these kind of questions help provide clarity about our deepest desires.

In a previous blog post, I spoke of a passion choosing you.  The passion can be translated into a type of work or profession.  There are other types passions, usually cause related, that simply help others when you consider charitable giving and volunteerism.  It is wonderful when you are in agreement with the passion you are involved in, but many of us are pushed toward a passion of someone else’s choosing or you could be misled into believing it is your passion and it really isn’t.  This situation can be avoided in most cases if we do the right amount of inner work and keep the awareness surrounding our desire at a heightened level.  At the same time, we should not think our inner work is ever over, it becomes spiritual food that you need, protect and cultivate.  It is like fertilizer to a garden, water, or sunshine; things needed to survive.
