Fear

The centering thought for Day 7 of the mediation series was “I am free”.  When feeling fearful about something, we don’t feel free, you feel that you are restricted, limited, bound by a thought, a person(s), the system or a belief that keeps you from embracing your destiny and desires.  We are free to change our thinking and in most cases we are free to change our circumstances.  It takes courage to project your mind over fears that lie on the path to your pursuit of your desires.

Many people have written about the concept of fear.  In the midst of the Great Depression, Theodore Roosevelt said to America, “we have nothing to fear but fear itself”, Eleanor Roosevelt said “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear I the face.  Another person said “have faith not fear”, “courage is the absence of fear,”  “perfect love casteth out fear. – John I 4:18 and “You block your dream when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith. – Mary Mann Morrissey.

Deepak describes some to things that motivate people to overcome their fears, it is good idea to look back and remember what motivated you to overcome some of the fears you had in the past.  He spoke of the offer of a special insight, the process of an idea being so intriguing, you have to make it happen, maybe you feel there is story that needs to be told or the getting past the fear along the path of an idea or a quest will positively impact you for a lifetime.

Deepak asks “is the destiny you are seeking your unique and inherent heaven on earth?”  The treasure in your soul, your center, the potential that lies within is revealed each time you vision something and bring it to completion.

We can clear away our fears along the path to our destiny with trust and faith in our treasures from the center.
