The Centering Thought for Day 9 was “I am focused on what I want”. Focus happens in many forms, from second to second or writing down a goal and working toward achieving it over a period of time. The quote featured on Day 9 is perfect for anyone who has trouble focusing on what they want. “We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the the dark to our success. – Henry David Thoreau. “
When the Center Mandala, aka Science of Mind Mandala” was created, the intention was to help people focus on something other than the negative thought they may be having at the time. The idea is to focus on the images and words that are intended to expand awareness and decrease stress. It was intuition, instinct or “emotional GPS as Oprah refers to it” that guided me to the creation of the Mandala and then writing book “Treasures from the Center – The Ancient Cure for Negative Thinking which features the Mandala. It was a leap in the dark as Thoreau refers to.
As we listen and follow our intuition and nestle in that place of stillness, we are able to make decisions that come from a place of divine design as Oprah describes. Intuition is included in Universal Mind. Deepak says that intuition is not a gift, that we all have it. The difference is sometimes we listen to it sometimes we don’t. He says intuition eavesdrops on the mind of the Universe. The process can start with meditation, then following the meditation, we can tune in to the frequency of the Universe and download new information that can take us closer to our desires and ultimately, our destiny.
